Why do YOU think Google is so successful? If you ask me, it’s because their pages has always been dead-simple to use. Search bar. Google search. I’m feeling lucky. A few links. That’s how the web should be. A whole lot of potential, but presented simply. I realize this is difficult for mere mortals like you and me, but it is something to keep in mind and strive for.

Now, let’s take a look at CNN.com. ::sigh:: I’m no expert, and probably never will be, but this makes my head hurt. It’s very busy, and hard to focus on anything. Everything jumps out at you and vies for you attention all at once.

I like sites that are simple, easy to use, easy to understand. That’s all.
